Ridgeline Roofing & Solar recently returned to Carthage, Missouri to follow up on a completed roofing project at Grace Church—and it’s a perfect example of how investing in high-performance roofing materials pays off long term. With a combination of Euroshield roofing shingles and silicone roof coating, this property now benefits from unmatched durability, energy efficiency, and long-term protection.
A Permanent Roofing Solution with Euroshield
The main roof system features Euroshield Vermont Slate, a premium roofing product manufactured from recycled rubber materials. Designed to replicate the look of natural slate, this system offers both aesthetic appeal and extreme durability.
Key benefits of this system include:
- Permanent warranty that lasts as long as the structure itself
- Interlocking shingle design from starter to ridge for maximum wind resistance
- 7 to 8 fasteners per shingle, ensuring superior hold and performance
- Engineered color variation, creating a natural slate appearance
- Impact-resistant options, including hail-rated systems designed to withstand severe weather
This roof replaced an older DaVinci system and now delivers a stronger, longer-lasting solution with enhanced curb appeal.
Silicone Coating Extends the Life of TPO Roof Sections
In addition to the steep-slope system, Ridgeline is also applying a Polyglass silicone coating to the building’s 15-year-old TPO roof sections. This restoration process adds significant value without the cost of full replacement.
Benefits of silicone coating include:
- 50-year material warranty when properly applied
- Seamless waterproofing, eliminating leak-prone areas
- UV resistance, reducing heat absorption and extending roof life
- Cost-effective alternative to tearing off and replacing the roof
Before application, the roof is cleaned and prepped to ensure proper adhesion. Once complete, the silicone membrane creates a fully sealed, monolithic surface that protects against water intrusion and environmental wear.
The Value of Choosing the Right Roofing System
This Carthage project highlights the importance of selecting the right materials for each section of a roof. By combining Euroshield shingles for steep slopes with silicone coatings for flat areas, property owners get the best of both worlds—performance, longevity, and cost efficiency.
Repeat customers like this one understand that investing in quality upfront leads to fewer repairs, better protection, and long-term savings.
Built to Last for Decades
From the interlocking strength of Euroshield to the seamless protection of silicone coatings, this roof system is designed to perform for decades—through storms, heat, and everything in between.

Video Transcript: "Good morning, Tim Yates, Ridgeline Roofing and Solar.
I'm at Grace Church this morning in Cartridge, Missouri.
We're not too far from downtown.
We did this roof last year.
We tore this off.
I think it had a DaVinci on it, and we put a EuroShield on it.
And this is our model that we get out of Canada.
It's a recycled tire shingle, and it comes with a permanent warranty.
This shingle is interlocked from the starter all the way up.
It gets 7 or 8 nils, depends on the model, per shingle.
And this is Vermont Slate, and it really gives it a nice slate look.
So it has a color variance.
When you put it on, you have to go row 1, row 2, row 3, row 4, and follow the pattern.
You can kind of see the color variance a little bit.
And then when you get to the top, that ridge cap up there gets 4 screws per piece of ridge cap.
So it's a permanent warranty roof.
It's warrantied as long as the structure's here.
They actually make a hell-proof model that is warrantied for any size of hell for the life of the home or business.
So that's pretty cool, too.
So we're also doing a silicone coating, and it's got some leaves and stuff on it from yesterday.
We had our machine go down yesterday, so everything's back up and running now, thank goodness.
Anyway, silicone.
This is a 15-year TPO roof.
And the silicone will give it an additional 50-year material warranty.
And we're going to be doing that up there.
And we've got some over here as well.
So if you have any questions about your roof, residential or commercial, please give us a call.
Thank you."
