At Ridgeline Roofing and Solar, we’re always ready to help restore the value and integrity of a roof after a storm. This week, our team was in Tyro, Kansas, just outside of Caney, giving a hail-damaged property a much-needed facelift.
The property featured a 29-gauge metal AG panel roof that had taken a beating from recent hail. To ensure a lasting solution, we installed new metal roofing from Central States in a beautiful burnished slate color. The textured coating on this metal not only adds durability but also gives the home a modern, polished look.
To protect the roofing system and extend its lifespan, we also applied a Polyglass silicone spray coating. For metal roofs like this, we always follow manufacturer specs—taping all the seams to prevent bubbling and allow for expansion and contraction due to Kansas’ extreme temperature swings.
Whether it’s hail damage, age, or leaks, we provide customized roof restoration services with the best materials and workmanship around.

Video Transcript: "Good morning. Tim Yates, Ridgeline Roofing and Solar. We're in Cairo, Kansas this morning. Getting ready to spray some silicone. We're prepping this roof here.
It's a 29 gauge metal ag panel. You can see the ag panel here with the striations. So this is a a victim of hail. They had quite a bit of hail out here. This is just outside of Caney.
And, what we've been doing is going through and taping all the seams off, and that's a manufacturer spec. Metal roofs like this, if you tape them off, it doesn't allow the material to bubble. It also allows this roof to flex. There's a lot of flexing going on between, you know, the the summer heat and the the winter cold. These roofs move quite a bit, especially when it's windy out too.
You know, you get them moving. So the main house over there that you can't really see from here, we're doing this burnished slate. I just brought a piece to show everybody. It's a textured coating on that, and it's a burnished slate. And it's it's gonna look really nice when it's done.
So we've got this one to do, that one to do, a couple over there, and one over there. And, a little bit of wind, not bad. There's a nice pond over there. Should be a good day to be fishing. I'm sure I brought my foal.
Anyway, if you have any questions about your roof, commercial or residential, please give us a call. Thank you."
